Robin L. (Kitchen) Kmetz, 62, of Ladd, passed away Friday, August 13, 2021 at her home, surrounded by her family and friends in prayer.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at St. Joseph's Church, Peru with Rev. J.A. Small officiating. Visitation will be from 10 to 10:50 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Arrangements are entrusted to the Mueller Funeral Home, Peru.
Mrs. Kmetz was born October 4, 1958 in Sikeston, MO to Harold and Margaret (Taylor) Kitchen. She was a graduate of Ohio High School. She married Mark Kmetz on September 15, 1979 at St. Joseph's Church, Peru.
Mrs. Kmetz was a member of St. Joseph's Church, Peru. In earlier years, she was a Girl Scout Daisy Troop leader. She received training in interior design. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing and baking. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband, Mark; four children, Jason Kmetz of LaSalle, Holly Kmetz of Spring Valley, Randi (Adam) Lind of Spring Valley and Desteny (Cody) White of Toluca; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Cathy (Tom) Miller of Louisiana and Laura Paul of Oregon; two brothers, Steve (Michelle) Kitchen of Texas and Randy (Shawna) Kitchen of Arkansas and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two granddaughters, Paige Taylor Kmetz and Alix White both in infancy; one sister, Kimberly Ann Kitchen in infancy and one brother, Harold Kitchen Jr.
