Edward Ziolkowski Obituary

HOLLY HILL - Edward Robert Ziolkowski, 63, a former resident of DeLand, died Nov. 12, 2021.
Born in Fort Dix, New Jersey, Edward moved to this area in 1983 from New Jersey.
He was a graduate of Middletown North High School, Class of 1976.
As a child and teen, Ed enjoyed the Boy Scouts, karate, horseback riding, camping and the outdoors. Most of all, he loved making his own jump ramps for his dirt bike.
As an adult, he loved to take a run on Daytona Beach, or cruise the strip on his Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
Ed was always eager to use his hands and work on projects, whether it was repairing the engine of a car or working on a motorcycle.
He was co-owner of a pre-owned-car dealership in Daytona Beach in the 1980s, and an investor in a multifamily triplex.
Ed was a skilled stock race car driver for years, and went by "Eddy Z" at the New Smyrna Beach Speedway.
He leaves behind his father and two sisters, along with nieces and nephews, and numerous cousins and friends.

Dated Ed back in 1986 (Holly Hill, FL). He used to make Estes rockets with my 8 year old son and shoot them off in empty fields. I'm not sure who had the most fun!
