Francis Calkins Obituary
Born March 4, 1956, Frank was a graduate of DeLand High School's Class of 1975.
He worked in partnership with other family members at Calkins Electric.
Frank was active in a variety of athletic adventures in the community over the years, and was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Mary Edna Calkins.
Frank is survived by his brothers, Rick (Maritza), Bill and Terry (Dawn); a sister, Mary Beth Lawrence; stepson Jonathan; nephews Brian (Kirsten), Dan, Chris (Bridget), Andrew (Brianna) and Matt (Laura); niece Amanda; great-nephews Caleb, Jeremiah, Bronson, James, Payson and Finn; and great-nieces, Brooklyn and Madeleine.
Citrus Grove Cremation of DeLand is in charge.

Frank Calkins was my first crush when I was in elementary school at St. Peter´s. He was playing in a band & I thought he was the coolest ever. He always had the sweetest smile & a twinkle in his eyes. He was a great guy. Any member of the Calkin´s family is a legend and will always be remembered as one of the greatest.
