Kevin Kruger Obituary
February 26, 1976 - April 21, 2025
Kevin L. Kruger, 49, of Beatrice, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 21, 2025, at his home. He was born on February 26, 1976 in Beatrice to Jerry and Karen (Stevens) Kruger. Kevin graduated from Beatrice High School in 1995. After high school he worked at Hy-Vee in Omaha for many years and then spent the last 12 years at BSDC. On July 3, 2021, Kevin married Christy Schriner in Beatrice. He had many friends that he grew to love while working at BSDC. He was a die-hard Nebraska Cornhusker and KC Chiefs football fan. Though soft-spoken, Kevin had a kind heart and quiet presence that made an impression on everyone he met. He valued his friendships greatly. He was very much loved, will be missed by all, and forever remembered by family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Christy of Beatrice; daughter, Nova Kruger; stepdaughters, Tiffany (Robert) Fletcher and Brittany (Kellie) Roush; seven grandchildren; mother, Karen (Dan) Oehm; father, Jerry Kruger; brothers, Brian (Marci) Paben, Jon Oehm, and Mike Kruger; sisters, Danielle (Randy) Martin, Mary King, Katie Kever, and Erin Haefle; father-in-law, David Fralin; brothers-in-law, Jason (Monica) Schriner, John Schriner, and Levi Fralin; nieces and nephews; aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Milton and Jeanie Meckem and Walter and Gertrude Kruger.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Fox Funeral Home of Beatrice with Chaplain Sharon Schuster officiating. Interment will be at the Pleasant View Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from noon until 8:00 P.M. The family will greet relatives and friends from 6:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Friday at the funeral home.
