Larry R. Timke
Larry R. Timke, 76, of Beatrice, died Sunday evening, August 21, 2022 at his home. He was born on October 12, 1945 at Tecumseh and attended school in Wymore. Larry served in the U.S. Navy from 1965-1968. On March 27, 1972, he married Marlene Siebels in Lincoln. He owned the Wander Inn Bar and Bar 213 in Wymore for several years. Larry was a former member of the Wymore Legion Post #25. He enjoyed gardening and woodworking.
Survivors include his wife, Marlene Timke of Beatrice; sister-in-law, Kathy Roche of Wymore; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Frieda (Kelle) Timke; brothers, Donald, Vernon and Melvin (Christena) Timke; sister, Evelyn (Fred) Wickersham.
Per Larry's request, cremation has taken place and there will be no services. A memorial has been established to Samaritan's Purse. www.foxfuneralhome.net Arrangements entrusted to Fox Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Beatrice.
