Their last move in 1981 was to Georgetown where Brenda was an educational diagnostician for Round Rock ISD and finally retiring from Georgetown ISD. Brenda was a juvenile diabetic and as a consequence as she aged, she had a multitude of health issues that plagued her. She had a love of family, life, friendships and travel. After retiring she was a volunteer at Texas Army of Retired Teachers (TARTS). She traveled with Ron, her family and friends on countless cruises and to many countries throughout Europe, Russia, Morocco, Mexico, Caribbean islands, Cuba, Costa Rica, Australia and New Zealand. The beach was her special place. Brenda was always athletic and did not stop playing tennis or snow skiing until her health failed. She always bounced back and lived with the pain. Brenda was a role model for her positivity and bravery throughout her health issues. Special thanks to her hospice team at Compassus, the staff at Cedar Pointe Health and Wellness Center in Cedar Park, Encompass Health and Rehabilitation Hospital in Round Rock, and Ascension Seton Williamson in Round Rock, and to the untold number of doctors, nurses and professionals that assisted for many years in keeping Brenda alive and enjoying her life.
