Carolyn Lacoste Obituary

Carolyn C. Lacoste 84, of Beaumont, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2025. She was a resident of the Forum at Lincoln Heights in San Antonio Texas the last year of her life. Carol was born November 8, 1940 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Annalea A. Colomes and Paul B. Colomes.
A longtime resident of Beaumont Carol was very active in the business & civic community for many years. Her employment with Lamb's Printing & Stationary Co. as a successful salesperson for over 20 years was a source of great pride.
She is survived by her daughter Barbara L. Salemi and her husband Philip of Rockport Texas; son Blair P. Lacoste and his wife Loriann along with her adored grandson Brendan P. Lacoste all of Angleton, Texas and beloved brother Richard P. Colomes of Metairie Louisiana.
She is proceeded in death by her parents and husband Edgar Joseph Lacoste Jr.
The family will say their goodbyes privately.

We just learned of Carol's passing. We were friends with Carol and Ed in Beaumont, and they
visited us several times in St. Louis. Carol came to visit several times after our move to Mandeville, Louisiana.
We always had wonderful times. Our thoughts and prayers are with her loved ones. Rest in peace Carol.
You are missed.

I was her plumber and friend for 25 years. I loved her spirit and she would always say what was on her mind lol! I really really miss her! I am going to miss the talks on holidays. Rest in heaven Mama!

Heartbroken to say the least but forever grateful to have known and loved Carol. She was something special and I´ll cherish all the memories I have of her. We love you Carol and we are going to be missing you big.

Carol will always be remembered as a beautiful person to visit each week I visited the Forum. She was very proud of her room being decorated with many items from her home. It was an honor to know Carol she was so sweet and spoke of her children often.
Carol was seated at the dinning room table with my dear friend Joyce Siebold.
She now is at peace with God in heaven. My prayers are with her. Thank you for posting the memorial notice, we kept asking about Carol being gone so long from the Forum. my condolences to the family.

I worked with Carolyn in the early 1970's at The Fair Store offices in Beaumont. She and her family were newcomers to the area then. Carolyn had a distinctive voice and was lively and fun. She is fondly remembered.
