Chad McDonald Obituary

Eric McDonald, 29, of Port Neches, died Tuesday, May 14, 2013, at The University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston. He was born on May 5, 1984, in Groves, to Yancie Flores and Johnsye McDonald, and had been a lifelong resident of the area. Chad worked as a pipefitter and boilermaker for Signature Industrial Services. He loved spending time outdoors hunting and fishing. He is survived by his father and step-mother, Johnsye McDonald and his wife, Rhonda, of Port Neches; mother, Yancie Flores of Port Neches; son, Chad Kayden McDonald of Port Neches; sisters, Marissa McDonald of Port Neches and Ashley Doucet and her husband, Curtis, of Port Acres; brothers, J.P. McDonald and Adam Washburn, both of Port Neches; grandmother, Eula McDonald of Groves; nephew, Braden Doucet of Port Acres; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Chad is preceded in death by his grandparents, B.R. McDonald, Betty Harroll Betaud, and Phillip and Susie Roebuck. A gathering of Chad's family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, May 17, 2013, at Broussard's, 505 12th Street, Nederland. His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 18, 2013, at Nederland Apostolic Church, 1308 South 27th Street, Nederland, with interment to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches.
