Faul Faul Obituary

Faul LeRoy Faul, 80, of Nederland passed away on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at his home. He was born December 24, 1929 to Adelliade LeBoeuf Faul and Joseph Faul in Churchpoint, Louisiana. He served in the U. S. Army as a paratrooper. LeRoy worked as a salesman for several beer distributorships in the area for over 43 years, retired from Gideon Distributoring as a supervisor. He then worked for HHH Investment Corp. as Building superintendent for several years. He was a former resident of the Groves area since 1947 and has lived in Nederland for the last six years. He was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic in Groves and St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Nederland. LeRoy was a member of Immaculate Conception Knights of Columbus Council #3491 in Groves and a 4th Degree Knight with Dick Dowling Assembly #1110. Visitation will be on Thursday, September 2, 2010 from 4 P.M. to 8 P.M. with a rosary to be prayed at 6:00 P.M. at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 P.M. Friday, September 3, 2010 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Nederland with Rev. Msgr. Dan Malain serving as celebrant. Entombment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Honor Guard will be provided by Dick Dowling Assembly. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary U. Faul, his parents and his brother, John Melvin Faul. He is survived by his loving wife of five years, Sable Thibodeaux Faul of Nederland, his sons, Gary Lee Faul of Groves, Kenward Dale Faul and his fiance' Cindy of Groves, Darryl James Faul and his wife Robin of Conroe, step daughters, Cheryl Achord of Arkansas, Sandra Witt of Beaumont, Cindy Mason of Nederland, step sons, Sid Miller, Jr. of Nederland, Kenneth Miller of Buna, Glenn Miller of Nederland. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Jessica Camp (Nathan), Angelika Faul, Monica Faul, David Faul, Daniel Faul and Callie Faul along with numerous step grandchildren as well as his sisters, Dorothy Amy of Nederland, Audrey Biehle of Port Arthur, Priscilla Varnado of Port Arthur and Ethel Vidrine of Carencro, Louisiana, several nieces and nephews.
