Frank and I became good friends in 1959 during our years at SMU. I married Edie on June 1, 1960. Edie and I double dated many times with Frank and many different beautiful woman. We three became really good friends to the point of Edie giving Frank advise on her evaluation of the woman he dated. She would even say to Frank after one of our dates together that Frank should be more selective in the selection of his dates that Edie would refer to them as fast woman as opposed to a real Lady. Edie and I married on June 1, 1960. Frank and I continued our friendship together including Edie even though Frank transferred to Texas University and Edie and I Transferred to Texas A & M University. After graduation from our universitys and I signed up to be an Officer in the US Army and Frank signed up with the Marine Reserves. In the years that followed we maintained our friendship and when Frank reconnected with Berta and married her both Edie and I realized that Frank had found his Real Lady. The joy Frank and Berta had in their marriage and relationship was very similar to what Edie and I had experienced in our three years of becoming best friends plus a 62 year marriage. I look forward to spending eternity with Frank, Berta and Edie and our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. I am really excited that one of the Smeal's chose a really good university. Gig,Em Roy Aggies

It was a privilege to have worked alongside someone as kind, intelligent, and warm-hearted as Frank. A true gentleman and a brilliant businessman, he was not only a trusted colleague but a leader whose impact helped shape the Fiserv legacy. His contributions, character, and generosity will long be remembered by those of us fortunate enough to have known him.

Frank and Bert are missed. I work with Frank at Fiserv. Frank was one of the nicest people I worked with. He invited me to his lovely home in Texas and came to my Art Gallery opening and even purchase one of my paintings. He was a smart and kind executive. His office was filled with photos of his beautiful family and he was very proud of them. God Bless Frank and Berta. God bless the surviving family.

Frank was a wonderful person to work with. He was always so patient and kind, not only to his clients but also his fellow workers.
What a great ambassador he was for Fiserv as he represented us to the banking community not only in Texas but across the US.
He and Bert seemed to always be so happy together. Both will be missed and we know they are in God's hands together once again.
