Ivan Rush Brown

Ivan Rush Brown, 28, of Groves, died Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at his residence. Ivan was a 1998 graduate of Silsbee High School and a life long residence of the area. He was a process operator for Arkema. He is survived by his mother, Lucretia Ashcraft and step- father, Joe of Silsbee; father, Steve Terrell of Gulf Breeze, Florida; daughter, Gwyneth Laine Brown of Groves; grandparents, Ann and James Garrison of Jasper, Melvin and Lavinia Brown of Sulphur, Louisiana, and Shirley Burlin of Silsbee; mother of his child, Katherine Shipley of Groves; aunt, Rhenda Goins of Silsbee and Sue Brown of Orange; uncle, Buck Brown of Austin; cousins, James and Cody Goins of Fort Worth and Annie Kovaks of California; step- sisters, Lanelle Wrist and Tammy Cravy of Silsbee; and step-brother, Jared Ashcraft of Milam. Cremation arrangement is being handled under the direction of Broussard's, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.
