Memorial services will be 11:00AM, Thursday, December 29, 2022, at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home in Beaumont, Texas.
Visitation will be 10:00am, Thursday, December 29, 2022, at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home in Beaumont, Texas.
Jay retired from DuPont in Orange, Texas after 39 years - before DuPont he delivered flowers for Koch Flower Shop and worked at various service stations. He was not one to be idle he always had a project going.
Preceded by parents, J.D. Koch, Jr. & Barbara Maxine Koch
Survived by wife of 66 years Jo Ann Koch, sons Larry & wife Barbara and Craig, 5 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.

I met Jay in the spring of 1954 at Beaumont High School. I knew him as a very friendly individual. In the 1960's we both were employed by the DuPont Company at difference locations. Our closest contact was both owning rent property on Corley Street in South Beaumont. We had good conversations and exchanged ideas on managing of our properties.
