Jeff A. DeCuir

Jeff A. DeCuir, 54, of Groves, Texas passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at Christus St. Mary Hospital in Port Arthur, Texas. Jeff was born June 13, 1959 in Port Arthur, Texas to Ronald DeCuir and Shirley Hulin DeCuir. He was a lifelong area resident and member of First Baptist Church Groves. Jeff was employed as a process operator at Motiva refinery. His favorite pastimes were singing, playing guitar, fishing and hunting. He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald DeCuir. Survivors include his wife, Beth DeCuir of Groves; his mother, Shirley DeCuir of Groves; daughters, Kelly DeCuir of Bridge City, Ashley Peltier and husband Justin of Groves, Amy Murphy of Groves; sister, Vicki Davis of Groves; brother, Kirk DeCuir and wife Debbie of Port Arthur; grandchildren Reese Peltier and Ryann Peltier; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 15, 2014 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with Dr. Joe Worley and Reverend Charles Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday evening from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
