John Longpre Obituary
He was born and raised in Laramie, where he lived until he and his wife Kathy moved to Humble in 2002 to be closer to their family. John and Kathy were active members of Kingwood Country Club where they competed regularly in couples golf events, and was also active in the Golfers Against Cancer organization - in memory of his late son Mike.
John is preceded in death by his parents, John and Eva Longpre, and his son Mike Longpre.
He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather - and dedicated friend to many. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Longpre; son, Kevin Longpre; grandsons; Michael Longpre, Jacob Longpre and John Longpre;
brothers, George Longpre, Dave Longpre & his wife Flo Longpre; sister, Jeanne McCue. Several nieces and nephews and a host of friends also survive.
A Remembrance service to memorialize John's life will be held at 3:00 PM, on Wednesday, June 2nd, 2021 at Kingwood Funeral Home, 22800 Hwy 59 North, Kingwood, Tx 77339.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of John. Kathy and Kevin you will always miss him because he was such a great person. You will cherish your memories for the rest of your lives. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
