Lianne K. Schneider

1946-2015 Lianne K. Schneider of Sanders Hill Rd., Strykersville, NY died Monday, November 9, 2015, at her residence, at the age of 69. She was born February 14, 1946, in Timmins, Ontario, Canada, a daughter to Luella (nee Kendall) LeMieux of Strykersville, NY, and the late Lorne LeMieux. She enjoyed digital painting and photography, and writing poetry. She was a member of the St. John Neumann Church in Strykersville and served for 11 years as the pastoral associate. She was a High School Religious Education Teacher for the Diocese of Beaumont in Texas from 1983 - 2002. Her husband, Gordon A. Schneider, Sr., who she married May 25, 1968, in Middletown, OH, passed away in 2000. She is survived by her mother; her children: Leslie Erin (late Robert) Sharpe of Lubbock, TX and Gordon A. (Julie) Schneider Jr. of Virginia Beach, VA; her brothers: Lorne A. (Robin) LeMieux of Strykersville, NY, Michael (Christy) LeMieux of Middletown, OH, and Kendall (Jacalyn) LeMieux of Strykersville, NY; also survived by eight grandchildren, a great - grandson and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father and her husband. There will be no prior visitation. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2015, at 10 AM, at the St. John Neumann Church in Strykersville, NY. Arrangements were made by W.S.
