Marie Ledger

1939 - 2015 Marie Ledger, 75, of Fort Worth, formerly of Beaumont, died Tuesday, July 14, 2015, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas, Beaumont. She was born on August 2, 1939, in Orangefield, to Edolia Breaux Broussard and Seely Joseph Broussard. Marie is survived by her daughter, DiAna Weaver, of Beaumont; son, Darren Ledger, of San Antonio; brother, Chris Squez, of Beaumont; grandchildren, Tara Weaver, Colton Weaver, Rick Elizondo, Amber Elizondo, Mandi Gonzales, Jason Ledger, Jeremy Ledger, Aaron Ledger, and Jamie Boubel; fifteen great-grandchildren; and a multitude of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Gale Ledger; parents; sisters, Olivia Broussard, Louise Pate, Agnes Opie, and Dorothy Broussard; and brother, S.J. Broussard. A gathering of Mrs. Ledger's family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, July 17, 2015, at Broussard's, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 18, 2015, at Broussard's, with her interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
