Marie Netterville Obituary

1929 - 2014 Marie Carr Netterville, 84, of Beaumont, died Friday, June 27, 2014, at Jefferson Nursing and Rehabilitation in Beaumont. Born December 27, 1929, in Beaumont, she was the daughter of Mary Elizabeth Brinson Carr and Ralph William Carr. Marie enjoyed reading, going to the casino and driving around. She was always smiling and never met a stranger. She was a fifty year member of the Order of Eastern Star #71. She is survived by her son, Bill Netterville of Kountze; grandchildren, Lauren LaFosse and her husband, Brett, and Angela Hodge and her husband, Paul; great-grandchild, Evan LaFosse; and brother, Robert L. Carr and his wife, June, of Beaumont. Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver Netterville, Jr.; son, Charles Netterville; sisters, Elizabeth Bertrand; Verdie Lee Gray and Lottie Christopher; and brother, Ralph Carr. A gathering of Mrs. Netterville's family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday evening, June 30, 2014, at Broussard's, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont. Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 1, 2014, at Broussard's, followed by burial at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Complete and updated information may be found at broussards1889.com.
