Patrice Wagstaff Obituary

Patrice Louise Latiolais Wagstaff 61 of Jasper, Texas died on December 25, 2021. She was born on January 7, 1960 in Port Arthur, Texas and had lived in Jasper for the past 15 years. She was a 1977 graduate of Newton High School and a graduate of the University of Houston and was a CPA for many years.

She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Wagstaff of Jasper, her loving mother, Pam "Mur" Latiolais of Newton, her children, Jim Wagstaff and wife, Susan, Sherry DuCharme and husband, Tony and Charlotte Thibodeaux, grandchildren, Ashley Thomas and husband, Taylor, Kevin DuCharme and wife, Katherine, Dustin DuCharme, Allison Wagstaff, Cody Thibodeaux, Grayson Wagstaff and wife, Jeff and Caitlyn Thibodeaux, great grandchildren, Elizabeth Thomas, Annabelle Thomas, Michah Thomas, Samuel Thomas and Josiah "Jo Jo" DuCharme and a host of Wagstaff nieces and nephews along with one Latiolais nephew, Robbie.

Patrice was preceded in death by her father, Bob Latiolais, her brother, Robert Latiolais and son-in-law, Cary Thibodeaux.

Visitation will be on Thursday, December 30, 2021 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Smith Funeral Home in Newton.

Funeral services will be on Friday, December 31, 2021 at 1:00 pm at the Jasper County Cowboy Church with visitation to be from 12 :00 noon until 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at the Newton City Cemetery.
