I still remember the summer the George's moved to Evadale. Like all the boys, I was certainly aware of how pretty the girls were and of course they could outrun and out-jump us boys. Despite the distractions, Mrs George caught my attention as much as anyone. She was very friendly and made me feel quite relaxed and welcome in her home. In fact, any time that I was ever in her presence I still felt that same sense of acceptance. I have always thought of Mrs George as very special lady and I am most saddened by the news of her passing. My heart-felt condolences go out to the entire family.
