Rosalie M. Bloodworth

1923 - 2017 Rosalie M. "Meek" Bloodworth, 93, of Beaumont, died Friday, May 26, 2017, at Altus Hospice-The Gardens, Beaumont. She was born on August 3, 1923, to Marie and Charles Betremieux, in Prouvy, France. Meek enjoyed oil painting, crocheting, and watching the Tour de France. Survivors include her children, Anita Proctor and her husband, Ronald; Paula Webb and her husband, Rowland; and Alan Bloodworth and his wife, Carla; grandchildren, Celeste Gray and her husband, David; Ronald Proctor and his wife, Melissa; and Christopher Bloodworth and his wife, Tara; and great-grandchildren, Madeline and Aaron Proctor and Benjamin and Jude Bloodworth. She is preceded in death by her husband of sixty-five years, Luther Bloodworth and grandson, Nicholas Webb. A gathering of Mrs. Bloodworth's family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., with her funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 2, 2017, at Broussard's, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
