I am very sorry to hear that Roy Birdsong has passed away. He and I worked together for 25 years at the Jefferson County Sheriffs Office. I enjoyed working with him, and was always impressed with his wonderful disposition and his calm and cool work ethics. He was an awesome supervisor and respected by all coworkers, the JCSO was blessed to have him on their team. Praying for his wife, son and family members.
