Ruth Wright Obituary

Ruth, age 78, went home to be with the Lord on October 20, 2011. A Home Going celebration for Ms. Wright, of Kirbyville, will be Saturday, October 29, 2011. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., at the Gateway Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church in Kirbyville, TX. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at West Green Lawn Cemetery, under direction of Coleman's Mortuary, Jasper, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, R.B. and Gladys Traylor; sister, Sallie Leona Brumley; and her oldest son, Larry Traylor, Sr. She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Lois Ann Wright of Kirbyville, TX; 3 sons, Walter Lee (Louise) Wright, Jr. of Kirbyville, TX, William Tim (Glenda) Wright, Sr. of Houston, TX, and Charles Edward (Mellownees) Wright, Sr. of Beaumont, TX; daughter-in-law, Patsy Traylor of Brenham, TX; 3 brothers, R.B. Traylor, Jr. and Henry (Beatrice) Traylor of Flint, Michigan, and Johnny (Lorene) Traylor of Kirbyville, TX; 16 grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
