I didn't know Ickey personally, but he brought so much pleasure and wonderful memories to so many children and parents by his generosity. His arena in Nome was the training ground for many a youngster. May you Rest In Peace, Mr. Ickey, you won't be soon forgotten.

I'm so sorry to hear of Uncle Ickey's passing. Wish i could be there. I'm so glad i was able to go with Julie Ann and see him in December. We had a great visit with him!!
