Susan C. Brumfield

Susan Charlene Brumfield, 56, of Forest, VA, died Thursday, April 9, 2015. Born Sunday, May 11, 1958 in Alexandria, Susan was the daughter of the late Charles Lawrence Reiss and Carol Wynne Jenkins Reiss Adams. In addition to her mother, Susan is survived by her children: Chris Wesson, Lauren Wesson, and Meaghan Hopkins, all of Lynchburg, two grandchildren: Seth Hopkins and Scarlett Yancey, a half-sister Denna Morgan and her husband, Doug, of Alexandria. Susan was a loving daughter, mother, and grandmother. Her children and grandchildren were the highlight of her life. She enjoyed gardening and planting flowers in the yard. Susan taught Sunday School for a couple of years at Tree of Life Ministries. She will be sorely missed. A celebration of Susan’s life was conducted at 3 PM on Monday, April 13, 2015 at Tree of Life Ministries with Pastor Mike Dodson officiating.
