Alexis was a light in my life. l met her through Grit and Tonic and from the moment l saw her l knew l was going to fall for her. The way she smiled, the way she laughed, the way she brightened my life every time she walked back to the kitchen. l am so grateful l was able to spend such quality time with her during her last moments. She was selfless, thoughtful, and so so beautiful. My heart aches for her family and close friends. She is such a better place now.

As I sit here and try to wrap my head around to what has happened to an amazing young lady. I go back to remembering her as a little girl who was so sweet and shy. My heart breaks for you all. Alexis will never be forgotten. God bless Greg. Lisa and Savanna.

I am so sorry for your loss. I don't remember her growing up but what I do remember her father bringing her around his business and her talking about her pot belly pig Wilbur. I knew she was going to be a animal lover. I am so sorry for your loss and remember God is holding her hand.

Alexis was one of my partners at Starbucks. She was just one of the sweetest and most gentile people I know. Her smile and laughter was infectious. Her dedication to school and work were truly inspiring. I was sad when she told me she was leaving but so excited for her to become a nurse. The world is going to shine a little less now but the sky will twinkle brighter. My heart goes out to her family. She truly was one of a kind.
