Aurelia Ludwig
Aurelia Marie "Nona" Ludwig, 98, of Prairie du Rocher, Ill., born Sept. 11, 1908, in Prairie du Rocher, Ill., passed away at 3:00 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2006, at Memorial Hospital, Chester, Ill.
Mrs. Ludwig was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Prairie du Rocher, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Ludwig, whom she married Nov. 25, 1931, in Prairie du Rocher, Ill., and who died Jan. 29, 1985; her parents, Amadee and Jeanette Marie, nee Peyrot, Ruez; two brothers, Alva and Shelby Ruez; and four sisters, Ruth, Lillian, Emma and Julia Mae; and one granddaughter, Dawn Ludwig.
Surviving are her nine children, Shelby "Cooney" Ludwig of Prairie du Rocher, Ill., Doris Kroupa of Affton, Mo., Donald "Doc" Ludwig of Prairie du Rocher, Ill., Mildred Bievenue of Ellis Grove, Ill., Audrey (Robert) Bryant of Agawam, Mass., Henry (Sharon) Ludwig of Belleville, Ill., Lola (Wayne) Klein of Prairie du Rocher, Ill., Logan (Ina) Ludwig of Bolingbrook, Ill., and Richard (Marilyn) Ludwig of Rockford, Ill.; one sister, Francis "Babe" Brewer of Mehlville, Mo.; 17 grandchildren; two step grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one step great-grandson; one great-great-grandson.
Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2006, and from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 14, 2006, at Welge-Pechacek Funeral Home, Red Bud, Ill. A Rosary Service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Funeral: Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 14, 2006, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Prairie du Rocher, Ill., with the Rev. Albert Kreher officiating. Interment will be in St. Leo Catholic Cemetery, Modoc, Ill.
