Betty Littlefield Obituary
Betty Jean Littlefield, nee Holt, of Caseyville, Ill., born July 13, 1930, in Belleville, Ill., passed away Monday, April 18, 2016, in Belleville, Ill.
Mrs. Littlefield retired from the Intergovernmental Grants Department in Belleville, Ill. She was a caregiver, dedicating much of her time to taking care of friends and family. She was a loving and caring woman who will be remembered for her patience; she will truly be missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Arthur A. Sparn; her second husband, Eugene Littlefield; her parents, Henry "Harry" and Mary, nee Wilson, Holt; and a brother, Kenneth Holt.
Surviving to cherish her memory are her children, Arthur W. (Connie) Sparn, Donna Poindexter, Patricia (Chuck "Mitch" Swan) Parnell, and Mary Kay (Clancy CJ) Norberg; her grandchildren, Jason, Bryan, Justin (Ashley), Kaitlyn, Brent, Courtney, and Steven; four great-grandchildren, Blayni, Kannon, Dustin, and Lyndsay; and many other relatives and friends.
Memorials are appreciated to the Highland "No Kill" Animal Shelter. Condolences may also be expressed online at: www.lakeviewfuneralhm.com.
Visitation: Friends may call from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2016, at Lake View Funeral Home, Fairview Heights, Ill.
Funeral: Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2016, at the funeral home. Interment will be held privately in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Ill.
