Chris Byron

Chris Phillip "Fish" Byron, 56, of Maryville, IL, born May 7, 1962, in East St. Louis, IL, passed away on Friday, July 20, 2018 at St. Louis University Hospital, St. Louis, MO.

Chris was a 1980 Collinsville High School graduate. He was a print services manager for over 20 years with Ricoh Copiers. He was a collector of "Brewmania" and T-shirts throughout the years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra J. nee Nichols Byron; and a brother, Eric R. Byron.

He is survived by his wife, Tracy nee Smith Byron, whom he married, May 16, 1990; a son, Jacob Byron of Maryville; his father, Wayne Byron of Maryville; a sister, Lisa (Steve) Wegert of Ferguson, MO; an aunt Gail Schmidt of Collinsville; as well as numerous cousins and friends.

Visitation: Memorial visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 25, 2018, at Barry Wilson Funeral Home, Maryville, IL.

Service: Memorial service will be 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 26, 2018, at Barry Wilson Funeral Home, Maryville, IL, with Rev. Dr. Andy Adams officiating.

Upon Chris' request, a Viking style burial will take place at a later date.
