Craig Cholet Obituary
Craig Cholet, 69 of Belleville, IL, born August 26, 1949, in East. St. Louis. IL, died on Sunday, September 9, 2018, at Barnes Hospital, St. Louis, MO.
He was a real estate broker for 46 years and the owner of Craig Cholet Realty for 30 years. Craig belonged to the Belleville Board of Realtors and the Granite City Elks.
He was preceded in death by his parents, August P. "Gus" and Ione nee, Tietje, Cholet; his brothers, August "Sonny" Cholet, and Gary Cholet; niece Karen Cholet and nephew Tony Cholet; his mother and father-in-law, John and Grace Varady; and his sister-in-law, Marian Weber.
Surviving are his wife, Sharon Cholet, nee Varady; daughters, Tracy Fuller of Belleville, IL, Melanie (Steve) Hall of Belleville, IL; son Richard Fuller of O'Fallon, IL; grandchildren Becky Fuller, Randy Fuller, Alec (Jessica) Hall, and Nathan Hall; 3 great-grandchildren, Langdon, Caleb and Lillian; and sisters-in-law Sharon McGehee, Jeanette Harper, and Judy Shipton. Craig is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorials may be made to the Siteman Cancer Center or to Belleville Area Humane Society. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.kasslyfuneral.com.
Visitation: Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at Kassly Mortuary, Fairview Heights, IL.
Funeral: Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd, Fairview Heights, IL, with Deacon Tim DeRousse officiating. Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL.

Sharon, I am thinking and praying for you and your family. Words fall short of expressing my sorrow for your loss. I will always remember Craig calling Sharon at work, the caller ID simply read CRAIG. He would need her right away, then would ask her the silliest things! Much love.
