i'll allways remember dane for his wins on jeopardy

What a shock to hear Dane passed away. What wonderful memories I have of him. He was my ex-husband's (Jack Adams) best friend since they were little kids and I adored Dane from the moment I met him 40 years ago. Jack and I were so sad to hear the news. We didn't know he was ill. Neither of us live in Collinsville any more (Jack is in Springfield, Il. and I'm in Kirkwood, MO.). My sympathies to his family. Thinking of Dane will always make me smile.

Although we only knew Dane for a short time, he certainly touched our lives with his wit. We'll miss his smiling face. Our hearts go out to Mrs. Garrett and all of his family.
