New Athens, Illinois - Daniel Ralph "Sticker Dude" Dudeck, 63, of New Athens, IL, born December 26, 1961, in Belleville, IL, passed away on Sunday October 12, 2025, at his residence.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce (Hofmeister) Dudeck.

Dan is survived by his father – Donald T. Dudeck of New Athens, IL, his 2 daughters – Brandi (Nate) Schlattweiler of Belleville, IL and Brittany (Steve) Rothermich of Troy, IL, 3 siblings – Mary (Joe) Haislip of Springfield, MO, Brent (Carol) Dudeck and Amy (Tom) Kohnen, all of New Athens, IL, 3 grandchildren – Wesley Rothermich and Harry and Penny Schlattweiler, 7 nieces and nephews – Kristyna (Jeremy), Casey (Kirsten), Bailey (Zach), Theodore (Courtney), Haley, Mallory and Dawson and 2 great nieces and 2 great nephews.

Memorials in Dan's honor may be made to St. John United Church of Christ in New Athens, IL.

In keeping with Dan's wishes, his body is being donated to science with no formal services being held. But a celebration of Dan's life is being planned for a later date.

Heil-Schuessler Funeral Home in New Athens, IL is in charge of arrangements.
