Danny Sutterfield Obituary
Danny L. Sutterfield, 61, of Caseyville, Ill., born Jan. 15, 1951, in Sikeston, Mo., died at 7:50 a.m. Wednesday, July 18, 2012, at his residence.
Danny was a cardiovascular technician for the V A Medical Center in St. Louis, Mo. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, a reserve police officer for the City of St. Louis and then a reserve sheriff's deputy for St. Louis. Danny was an avid sports fan and enjoyed bowling. He was on the police bowling league in St. Louis and also in couples league with his wife Linda.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Freddie Libby.
Surviving are his wife of 39 years, Linda, nee Turner, Sutterfield, whom he married on Jan. 27, 1973; children, Jennifer (James Mikel) Sutterfield of Caseyville, Ill., Brian (Janet Simmons) Sutterfield of Cahokia, Ill., and Daniel Sutterfield of Caseyville, Ill.; his father, C L "Red" Sutterfield of Coopersville, Mich.; his mother, Naomi, nee Lewis, Sutterfield of Caseyville, Ill.; four grandchildren, Dominic, Charles, William and Gabriella; and numerous brothers and sisters.

Visitation: Friends may call from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, July 28, 2012, at Caseyville United Methodist Church, Caseyville, Ill.
Funeral: Funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, July 28, 2012, at Caseyville United Methodist Church, Caseyville, Ill., with Rev. Dave Kueker officiating. Per request, he was to be cremated.
