Darrel Rippelmeyer Obituary
Darrel R. "Bud" Rippelmeyer, 76, of Belleville, IL, died November 19, 2017, in Maeystown, IL. He was born June 18, 1941, in Maeystown, IL.
Darrel was a member of Morris Lodge #787, Shriner Ainad Temple, Scottish Rite, retired from AT&T - Construction Foreman, Hank's Excavating - Superintendent, he was an avid outdoorsman, he loved to hunt and fish.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Arnold H. and Arlou, nee Hoerr, Rippelmeyer; brother-in-law, Norbert Vogel; and a niece, Gwen Vogel.
He is survived by his wife, Donna, nee Pollock, Rippelmeyer; children, Brian (Rebecca) Rippelmeyer, and Michelle (Todd) Morris; grandchildren, Jedediah Rippelmeyer, Haley, Jacob, and Samantha Morris; sister, Marlene (Leroy) Vogel-Karsten; niece, Susan Vogel; nephew Scott Vogel; and cousins.
As an expression of sympathy the family prefers memorial contributions to Shriners Children's Hospital.
Visitation: Visitation 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, November 24, 2017 at Quernheim Funeral Home and again from 12 p.m. Noon until time of service Saturday Quernheim Funeral Home.
Services: Funeral 1 p.m. Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Quernheim Funeral Home in Waterloo, IL, Pastor Patrick Poole officiating. Interment at St. John Cemetery in Maeystown, IL.
