David Vallowe Obituary

David Vallowe
August 20, 1954 - December 7, 2022
Fredericksburg , Virginia - David Vallowe entered eternal life on December 7, 2022. He suffered a brain aneurysm followed by a stroke in May 2001, from which he made remarkable recovery and enjoyed his family and friends for the past 21 years.
David and Susan Elaine Portell were married for more than 48 years after meeting in high school and have 3 children, Timothy Michael of Arizona, Shawn Matthew (Claire) of Maryland and Amy Lynn of Virginia. They have 6 grandchildren, Kaleigh, Timothy, Noah, Owen, Samantha and John Wayne.
David was born in East St Louis, Illinois and grew up in the loving home of Raymond and Elaine Vallowe in Belleville with siblings Susan, Joseph, Daniel and Mary Rose. He graduated from Althoff Catholic High School in 1972 and became a journeyman baker and pastry chef through apprenticeship and training at Shopland Inc and Mallos Bakery.
His family plans to have a Celebration of Life for Dave in the Spring. We thank all of Dave's friends and relatives for the many kindnesses throughout Dave's long journey, and respectfully ask for continued prayers for him and us.
