O'Fallon, Illinois - Deborah K. Ripperda (nee Guttersohn), age 73 of O'Fallon, Illinois, born on January 6, 1951 in Breese, Illinois, passed away on May 23, 2024.
Deborah was born in Breese, Illinois and a 1969 graduate of Mater Dei high school. She graduated from Southwestern Illinois college and Greenville University and was a Certified Medical Assistant. Deborah was an active member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Shiloh, Illinois, who assisted with luncheons after parish funerals and the prayer team program.
Deborah was a kind and caring friend who loved music, watching the St. Louis Cardinals and St. Louis Muny performances.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Ann Marie (nee Van de Loo) Guttersohn. Surviving is her son Chad (Shelly) Ripperda and granddaughters Ren and Hayden Ripperda of Belleville, Illinois.
Deborah is also survived by her sister Sheila (Ken) Voss of Breese, Illinois and her brother Steven Guttersohn of Germantown, Illinois.

Memorials made be made to Corpus Christi Catholic Church Building Fund or Hospice of Southern Illinois, 305 S. Illinois St., Belleville, IL. 62220.
Visitation: Visitation will be from 10 am to 11 am on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church.
Funeral: A funeral mass will be held at 11 am on Thursday, May 30, 2024 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church with Father Paul Wienhoff celebrating. Burial will follow mass at Green Mount Catholic Cemetery.
Kalmer Memorial Services is in charge of arrangements.
