Diane "Mimi" Brewer, 65, of Godfrey and formerly of Granite City, Ill., born Feb. 16, 1952 in Granite City, passed away at 9:40 a.m. Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at her home.

She was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church and loved nature and entertaining others. She enjoyed watching the birds, working with crafts, being with family and kids and always looking for a reason for a party. She will be remembered for the love and special times shared with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony Jr. "Tony" and Betty, nee McCosky, Fecurka; and a brother-in-law, Don Smith.

Surviving are her husband, Dennis Brewer, whom she married Oct. 25, 1975 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Granite City; daughter and son-in-law, Stacey and Tony Goodman of Pocahontas, Ill.; a son and daughter-in-law, Dustin and Jessica Brewer of Granite City; four grandchildren, Devin Turner, Anthony Goodman, Anna Brewer and Evan Brewer; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Debbie and Kenny Radas of Edwardsville and Dawn and Tom Gass of Granite City; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jimmie and Joan Brewer of Granite City; sister-in-law, Jennifer Smith of Granite City; many nieces; nephews; other extended family and friends.

Visitation: In celebration of her life, visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 28, 2017 at Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road in Granite City.

Funeral: A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, April 28, 2017 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Granite City with Father Chris Comerford as celebrant. Burial will be at Sunset Hill Memorial Estates in Glen Carbon.
