Dolores Deeke

Dolores A. Deeke, nee Bechtoldt, 95, of Mascoutah, Ill., born Oct. 8, 1921, in Belleville, Ill., died Monday, Sept. 4, 2017 at St. Paul's Senior Community in Belleville, Ill.

Dolores was a retired payroll clerk from Martha Manning Dress Factory; member of Holy Childhood Catholic Church in Mascoutah; member of Holy Childhood Council of Catholic Women; Holy Childhood School Mother's Club; and delivered Meals on Wheels. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph E. and Agnes M., nee Cordie, Bechtoldt; her husband, Raleigh C. Deeke, whom she married in Mascoutah, Ill., at Holy Childhood Catholic Church on May 8, 1954, and who died on Sept. 1, 1974; two sisters, Loretta Haas, and Margaret Schlichter; and a brother, Joseph H. Bechtoldt.

Surviving are her sons, Father Von C. Deeke of Belleville, Ill., Thomas (Patti) Deeke of St. Louis, Mo.; four grandchildren, Miriam, Caleb, Joshua and Hannah Deeke; two sisters, Helen Bechtoldt and Mildred Hulliung both of Mascoutah, Ill.; and nieces and nephews.

Visitation: Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 7, 2017 and from 8:30 to 9:40 a.m. Friday, Sept. 8 at the Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, Ill. There will be a prayer service at 4 p.m. Thursday Sept. 7 at the funeral home.



Funeral: Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 8, 2017 at the Holy Childhood Catholic Church in Mascoutah, Ill., with Father Von C. Deeke officiating. Burial will follow in Holy Childhood Catholic Cemetery, Mascoutah, Ill.
