I am so grateful for the time I was able to spend with your family last summer helping Don get back to walking. He made me laugh and I looked forward to seeing him. He made many lasting memories I share with others to help them move past their current situation. Thank you for allowing me to help your family. I was sorry to hear he passed. I know he will be deeply missed.

Grampa,

You always answered my "I love you"s with "You're OK!" Even though you never said it back, you always showed it in a thousand little acts of service and protection and guidance.

Thank you for teaching me to listen to the words you intended, rather than the ones you spoke.

You're OK.

Dad;
You were an amazing Father and Grandfather and Great-Granfther. Looking through pictures of your life, the interaction with your family, expecially the "little ones", teaching us to fish, taking us camping, doing all the work while letting Mom get all the "sugar" hugs from the kids. Just amazing. I love you. We all love you, and we take comfort in knowing that you passed from us feeling that love. I'll miss your sassy attitude. The one that you passed on to me and to my children. It's what keeps us together and strong.
Love, your favorite (only) daughter - Joy
