Harold Backus Obituary
Harold A. Backus, died Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2004.
Mr. Backus was the beloved husband of Claudia, nee Kazior, Backus; dear father and father-in-law of Allyn (Kenneth) Wiechert and David (Patricia) Backus; dear grandfather of Margaret Boyko, Heidi, Carolyn and Laura Wiechert and Jonathan and Melissa Backus; and dear brother of Faye VanPelt, Peter and Patrie Backus, and the late Harris and Earnest Backus. He was our dear brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Tsunami Relief Fund, c/o American Red Cross, P.O. Box 37243, Washington D.C., 20013.
Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 6, 2005, at Ortmann-Stipanovich Funeral Home, Creve Coeur, Mo.
Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 7, 2005, at Ortmann-Stipanovich Funeral Home, Creve Coeur, Mo. Burial will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Mo.
