Harry O'Dell Obituary
Harry O'Dell Jr., 83, of Cahokia, Ill., born April 23, 1928, in St. Louis, Mo., died Friday, July 8, 2011, at St. Elizabeth's Hospital, Belleville, Ill.
Mr. O'Dell was retired from Don V. Davis Painting in St. Louis, Mo. He was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church of Columbia, Ill.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Gloria White; his parents, Harry and Edna, nee Yaggie, O'Dell Sr.; and a brother, Glen O'Dell.
Surviving are his wife, Charlsie "Shorty", nee Bryan, O'Dell; a son, Harry Mitchell (Sandra) O'Dell of O'Fallon, Mo.; a brother, Ed (Barbara) Wedig of Oklahoma; a sister, Dorothy (Jack) Seider of Arizona; a granddaughter, Lian White of St. Louis, Mo.; and a son-in-law, Bill White of Cahokia, Ill. Harry was a dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, July 10, 2011, at Braun Colonial Funeral Home, Cahokia, Ill.
Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday July 11, 2011, at Braun Colonial Funeral Home, Cahokia, Ill., with Rev. Allynn Walker officiating. Entombment will be at Valhalla Mausoleum, Belleville, Ill.
