I loved Harvey. We met late in life and I wish I had known him longer. We shared some good fishing trips especially on the ice. Harvey was a stalwart guy and had plenty of grit out there regardless of the conditions. He was a guy you could trust with your wallet and that says a lot about him.
Everyone I knew that fished with him was always glad to see him. His big smiles in group photos told you that he was exactly where he wanted to be on those days.
We are really going to miss him. We already do.

I enjoyed having breakfast with Harvey on Friday mornings at Perkins and fishing trips with him. He would share where he caught fish and what he caught them on. If you were ice fishing with him he would let you drill a hole near him if he was catching fish. One great guy!
