He graduated from St. Louis University Medical School in 1950, following which he completed an internship at Detroit General Hospital, and served in the U.S. Army as a paratrooper/medic for two years. My sincere condolences to the family of Henry Malench. He delivered 3 of our 5 children and I can remember how nice he was to me at those 3 times. He had not been in his practice very long in Edwardsville when I went to him. I remember how he had time for me like no other doctor I had been to. So sorry he is gone.

As a pharmacist who practiced in Edwardsville in the late
fifties it was obvious that Doctor Malench was as good as it gets.
His history as a practicing physician proved that. He was a credit to his profession. RIP
