Ivan Parrish Obituary
Ivan R. Parrish, 69, of Lincoln, Ill., born on Aug. 31, 1943, in LaBelle, Mo., died at 10:11 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 5, 2012, at his home.
Mr. Parrish served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals, Chicago Bears and NASCAR fan.
Ivan was preceded in death by his parents, Verley "Bud" and Helen, nee Hubble, Parrish.
Surviving Ivan are his wife, Jeanne Parrish, whom he married on March 14, 1980, in Lincoln, Ill.; two daughters; one son; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Elvin (Barbara) Parrish and Elmer (Lois) Parrish, both of LaBelle, Mo.; a sister, Faye Lund of Bethel, Mo. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorials may be made to State Bank of Lincoln for the family of Ivan Parrish.
Visitation: Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012, at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln, Ill.
Funeral: Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, at the funeral home. Burial with full military rights accorded by the Lincoln American Legion Post No. 263 will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Lincoln, Ill.

I will always remember Ivan as someone who liked a good joke and could hold his own surrounded by all those Cubs fans.
