Dear Kathy, my deepest condolences to you and your family. When I first met Jim in Key West, I found him to be a man of very few words. By that I mean that's how many words he used to speak to me that weekend! But that all changed when Belinda and I came to visit you but last summer. He made homemade pizza for us upon our arrival and it was at that time that Belinda told him I didn't like onions. He gave me a look, stuck his fingers into a few slices and picked them out saying "there, he'll be alright now". But we seemed to bond very nicely after that. He will be sincerely missed.
With all my love,
Mike

Kathy so sorry for your loss. The last time we saw each other was when you and Jim photographed our wedding 35 years ago. We are getting to the age where we are now attending more funerals than weddings.....sad to say. I'm sure Jim is doing some awesome photography in heaven. Bless you and your family.

Kathy, Roch, Brenda, Bridget and Belinda, my deepest sympathy for the loss of Jim.
Kathy, I have so many memories of him, like the time he tried to convince us we didn't have to paint your living room if we just rubbed toilet paper on the scuff marks. I remember us laughing until we were sick as he stood there amidst a pile of shredded toilet paper, pontificating on this fabulous method, or the time he became fake incensed because you made a major purchase of two inexpensive lamps without consulting him. He was kidding. (I think)
Or the time you and I were in your living room drinking sherry like two proper young ladies until Jim snuck down to the basement and started scratching at the floorboards, scaring the living daylights out of us.
There are 1 million things I remember about him and most all of them were crazy fun. I know how much you will miss him and my heart goes out to you.

All of my heart to the Beine Family. Jim never let me get away with squat and taught me many things on all those camping trips with our families. I think of those times on a regular basis for my favorite pre-ride fuel on weekends; his pineapple pancakes. Thank you Jim, You are loved by so many. Watch over us all.

I have very many fond memories of Mr. Beine, as he was called when I attended Althoff! Especially those with a camera in his hand! I also had the pleasure of being at many celebrations that he and Kathy photographed! The most memorable was my sister's (Marlene) wedding! My thoughts are with Kathy and her family!

Kathy,
Our deepest sympathy to you and your family. Mr. Beine taught me biology in high school. I really enjoyed him as a teacher. He gave me a baby chicken which I named J.B. Unfortunately, the neighbor's dog jumped our fence & well you know what happened.
You & Jim also took our engagement & wedding photos over 40 years ago.
He was so well liked! May that be of great comfort to you and your family.

Kathy,
I can't think of Jim without smiling. Someone once told me that the stories we hear about a loved one help fill the holes in our hearts created by their loss. You will be hearing many wonderful stories about Jim these next few days. I pray that those memories will fill your heart in a very special way. You two were so good for each other. You added much to our world!
