James Mikulait
James J. Mikulait, 64, of Belleville, Ill., formerly of Collinsville, Ill., born Sept. 14, 1943, in East St. Louis, Ill., died at 4:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 26, 2007, at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, Ill.
Mr. Mikulait was retired from Boilermakers Local 363. Jim loved his family, golf, dancing and life.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Roberta "Bobbie," nee Prazma, Mikulait; his parents, Chris and Julie, nee Ashmann, Mikulait.
Surviving are his wife, Kathleen J. Burch; his children, Carla (Tim) Petterson of O'Fallon, Ill., and James Mikulait of Collinsville, Ill.; four grandchildren, Haley and Riley Petterson and Conner and Cole Mikulait; his goddaughter, Patty Prazma; his brother, Leroy (Brenda) Mikulait of Collinsville, Ill.; mother and father-in-law, Robert and Barbara Burch of Belleville, Ill.; brother and sisters-in-law, Roseann Biason, Phyllis Hoff, Lou "Bud" (Diana) Prazma, Ed (Angie) Prazma, Ken (Jill) Prazma, John (Diane) Prazma and Robert S. (Jama) Burch; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 29, 2007, at Herbert A. Kassly Funeral Home, Collinsville, Ill.

Funeral: Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2007, at the funeral home with Father Larry Brunette officiating. Interment will be in Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Collinsville, Ill.

Kathy, Carla and Jimmy,

Kathy, Jimmy and Carla...
Jim was a amazing man, never harsh or judgemental, he would just look at you in way that made you feel lucky to be part of his life. Connor and Cole loved spending time at Grandma and Grandpa's, working with tools, building stuff in the garage, or making Christmas gingerbread houses. They'll always have amazing memories and traditions that you taught them. I'll make sure Connor and Cole always remember their Grandpa for the great man that he was. XOXOX
