Marilyn Tyson Obituary
Memorial services for Marilyn Pendergrass Tyson will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 2, 2012, at Dixie Baptist Church, Seiper, Louisiana, with Dr. Joe Sharp and Reverend B. G. Dyess, officiating.
Visitation will be Saturday, June 2, 2012, at Dixie Baptist Church, Seiper from 12:00 p.m. until service time.
Mrs. Tyson, 81, of Pineville, passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2012, at Rapides Regional Medical Center, Alexandria.
She was a member of Airbase Road Baptist Church, Alexandria. Mrs. Tyson and her husband owned and operated the Plantation Bell Restaurant in Boyce, Louisiana.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Richard Wilson; parents, William & Nellie Holt Pendergrass.
Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Richard O. Wilson & wife Diane of Boyce; daughter, Martha Wilson Self & husband, Jimmy of Frierson; brother, Reginald Pendergrass of Deville; ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Gospel Light Baptist Church, 1800 Military Highway, Pineville, LA 71360.
