October 17, 1941 - September 24, 2025

Millstadt, Illinois - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Kenneth (Kenny) Siebert, who peacefully departed this life on Wednesday, September 24th, 2025, at the age of 83.

Born on October 17th, 1941, he was a native of Millstadt, IL, and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, American Legion, and Millstadt Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corps Alumni.

Among many achievements, he honorably and proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He made a career in the Automotive Industry, starting as a mechanic and retiring as a service manager from Hampton Hentcher Ford in Red Bud, IL. After retirement, he worked for the Village of Smithton, IL, for 10 years.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lola Siebert (Nee Schaeferle), his parents, Kenneth G. Siebert and Ardella Siebert, and his dear friend and brother-in-law Clyde Roos.

Surviving are his children, Laura (Rick) Sims, Melissa Nungesser (Micheal Saathoff), Daniel Siebert, and Michael Siebert (Fiancée Erin Perez), stepchildren- Robyn Schmidt and Mark Schmidt, and very special friend and Dad's traveling companion, Roberta Laurent, his grandchildren: Alexander (Mercedes) Sims, Micah Nungesser (Sage Hayes), Emily Sims (Andrew Anderson), Matthew Nungesser, Dylan Siebert, Megan Siebert, Elijah Sims, Rebekah Sims, and Lydia Anderson. Sister- Roxanne Roos, Niece- Marlo (Kevin) Sternberg, and Nephew- Jason Roos.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 29th, from 5-7 pm at Leesman Funeral Home, Millstadt, IL. The funeral service will be Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at 10:00 am at Trinity Lutheran Church, Millstadt, IL. Burial will immediate follow in the High Prairie School Cemetery.

Condolences may be made to the family at Leesman Funeral Home in Millstadt.

In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church 503 East Washington St., Millstadt, IL 62260 or the High Prairie School Cemetery.
