I so very much admired Larry. I have wonderful memories of the reunions we attended in Mascoutah, Illinois, and Glenda was a wonderful support as she experienced our reminiscing and memories. I reflect on our good visits annually over the years, in Mascoutah, in the Best Western Hotel, and at the activities. I think of Larry and Glenda with much love, admiration and gratitude for lives well lived. May the sorrow in your hearts reflect the love you have. In the words of Rev. Peter Marshall, former Chaplain of the US Senate, "those we love are with the Lord, and He has promised to be with us. If they are with Him and He is with us, then the ones we love cannot be far away. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Lois (Sewell) Mesner, Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. Mascoutah Class of 1956 (I was also in 8th grade with Larry, in Mascoutah)

Larry was one of the nicest individuals I have ever known! His students loved him and truly learned math from him! His grace will be remembered always. Blessings to the family during this difficult time and know his legacy will live on for years to come.

I am so sorry to hear about Larry’s passing. I have many fond memories of New Years celebrations and swimming at your house. It was always a treat to run into Larry and Glenda at Music Circus as well and see you at Family Camp. My love, thoughts and prayers are with you all.
