Lola Logan
Lola Esther Logan, 98, of O'Fallon, Ill., born March 5, 1905, in Iberia, Mo., died Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2003, at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, Ill.
Mrs. Logan was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Merwin Logan; and a son, Everett Ray Brumley.
She is survived by five grandchildren, Ralph (Charlotte) Brumley of Pittsburgh, Pa., Karen Walton of Baltimore, Md., Keith Brumley of Fairview Heights, Ill., Brian (April) Brumley of St. Peters, Mo., and Diane Anderson of St. Charles, Mo.; eight great-grandchildren, Angela, Alecia, Tara, Troy, Elizabeth, Ross Jr., Daniel and Max; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation: There will be no visitation.

Funeral: Graveside service was Friday, Aug. 15, 2003, at Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, Ill., with Laura Adams-Radcliff officiating.

Lola was a patient of mine at Scott AFB when she was 94. I have kept regular contact with her for years, always keeping her phone number taped to my phone at work. She was a pleasure to talk to and she was a friend that I cherished very much. I hope she knows how much I will miss our conversations together. She was a precious spirit and was always cheerful and kind even when in a lot of pain. She was, is wonderful...
