Troy, Illinois - Margaret Ann "Marge" Range, age 78, of Troy, Illinois, passed away peacefully at 2:55 p.m. on Monday, October 20, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in O'Fallon, Illinois. She was born on March 11, 1947, in Highland, Illinois, the daughter of the late Joseph and Alvina (Rehkemper) Schwierjohn. On November 19, 1966, she married the love of her life, Ronald R. Range, at Immaculate Conception Church in Pierron, Illinois. They shared nearly 59 wonderful years together, and he survives. Marge had a long and accomplished career as a accountant, retiring from Bergman & Schraier in Clayton, Missouri. She also worked for many years at Southern Illinois Rail Car in Collinsville and later ran her own business, Mar's Accounting and Tax Service. In addition to her professional accomplishments, she was a talented hairstylist and enjoyed styling hair for family and friends over the years. A devoted member of St. Jerome Catholic Church in Troy, Marge was active in the Altar Society and found great joy in serving her church community. She loved quilting and crocheting and was known for her beautiful handmade creations. Above all, she cherished her family and treasured every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. In addition to her beloved husband of over 58 years, she is survived by three, Robert and Traci Range of Edwardsville, Renee and Timothy Brown of New Athens and Tim and Rebecca Range of Edwardsville; six grandchildren, Taylor N. and Corey Hays, Matthew Chambliss, Nathaniel Brown, William Range, Noah Range and Luke Range; five great grandchildren, Pierce Hays, Ash Hays, Hannah Chambliss, Leigha Chambliss and Kyelah Chambliss; two brothers, Joe and Nancy Schwierjohn of St. Rose and Rich Schwierjohn of Pierron; three sisters, Delores and Yogi Voss of Aviston, Marie Mensing of Breese and Dorothy and Dennis Revermann of Breese; nieces and nephews; other extended family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Andrew Range; a brother, Roger Schwierjohn and a brother-in-law, Dennis Mensing.

In celebration of her life, visitation will be at St. Jerome Catholic Church in Troy on Friday, October 24, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until time of a Funeral Mass at 12:00 noon with Father Kevin Laughery as celebrant.
